My oldest daughter, Abby, and her husband, Carl are going to have a baby! So, I am going to be a grandma for the first time. My husband and I are so excited. Abby is due on October 24, 2011. What a great time to have a baby, a little fall pumpkin!
I can't wait to help sew some of the bedding and curtains for the nursery. Busy days are ahead for me.
In other news, I am painting my oak woodwork with white paint. I put a chair rail in the dining room and added shadow box panels to the walls. The new look is so classic, I love it.
I have to go get busy!!!

congrats!! you guys look entirely too young to be grandparents, but i'm sure you're excited none the less. post a picture of your dining room when you're done... i want to see the finished product :)
